Starting September 17th, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 have been made available for pre-ordering from AT&T. The order for these devices can be placed at either the AT&T online store or the carrier's physical locations. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will be available for $529 with a pact signed for two years. The same will also be available for $629 off-contract. For making an installment purchase, the device will be available for $0 down with 20 monthly payments of $31.50. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 with the two-year contract is available for $429. Off-contract, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is for $529. For this tab too, you can pay $26.50 a month for 20 months.
Both these devices have been introduced in charcoal gray color; it is not certain though whether more colors will be added to the cart. The tablets have a fingerprint scanner and come with a multiple user mode that allows each member of your family to have his or her own customized settings. Both the devices share the same 2560 x 1600 resolution and the octa-core Exynos 5420 processor. They also include 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, bearing a microSD slot with a capacity 128GB. Another similarity between the two devices is that they both have 8 megapixel cameras on the back and 2.1 megapixel snappers in front. One thing that they differ in is the battery. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 runs on a 7900mAh battery, whereas the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 functions with a 4900mAh battery. Both the devices have Android 4.4.2 pre-installed out of the box.
AT&T also has a promotion on the keyboard accessory for both tablets. People out to purchase either of the tablets can save 50% on the appropriate Samsung Galaxy Tab S keyboard. While the pre-order period starts has just started off, September 26th is the date when the tablets will go on sale at AT&T.
