Why Cell Phones Are So Important in Our Daily Life

Currently, the cell phone has become a significant gadget that people rely on for fast and active communication with friends, family and business associates. But we see the rising costs of many such devices making it difficult for low income families to afford. Many people are searching for a more affordable option due to the growing necessity.

With the advancing technological developments, mobile phones have increased their importance all across the world. In both residential and commercial purposes, cell phones have made their unique presence felt. Without them, it is difficult to perform many business operations in the proper time. Today’s mobile phones are equipped with numerous features such as high mega pixel cameras, internet access, creative apps, scientific calculators, media player, daily notes, and more.  However, having such features makes them costly. For low income families, it becomes difficult to afford such costly devices.

Considering the fact that without a cell phone, individuals and families are at a disadvantage compared to those who have reliable communications; the government introduced a program allowing qualified households to receive a free cell phone service plan. For the people of Louisiana, Arkansas, Illinois, Oklahoma, Maryland, Missouri, Pennsylvania,  Kansas, Kentucky, Washington, Rhode Island, Nevada, Iowa, Texas, West Virginia, and more, there is Federal assistance available. Under this free service plan, the people who are eligible get cell phone service and the other valuable services absolutely free of cost.

In almost every state of the country, this free government cell phone service is available, but many states have different qualifying criteria. It is free of cost in most states except for Oklahoma, which has a $1 per month charge for unlimited cellular service.
